On behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and co-financed by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the project "Scaling digital agricultural innovations through start-ups" (SAIS) supports African start-ups in the agricultural and food sector before the growth phase.

The project aims to improve the investor readiness of the selected start-ups and give them access to investments and business partners.

In this way, the start-ups are to be supported in scaling their innovations and thus reach a more significant number of users.

For users, innovation must have a positive income effect.

Ihre Aufgaben:

During your internship you will support the following roles:

Working closely with the start-ups and partners of the programme
Support in the preparation of facetoface and digital events
Support in the development and implementation of marketing measures
Technical and conceptual support in the further development of the annual support programme for startups from Africa
Creation of short technical articles for external communication including social media
Supporting the SAIS project team with administrative tasks and daytoday operations

Ihr Profil:

Your profile:

You are studying economics, social business, innovation management, marketing, journalism or a related, relevant field
You have initial knowledge in the areas of business, startups and investments
You are native or fluent in English and have a good command of German, French is an advantage
You are a digital native
You are communicative, have organizational skills and are happy to support in the preparation of events and maintaining contacts with partners of the projects
You have an interest in development policy
Ideally, you have initial experience in the areas of marketing and communication

We pay a monthly stipend of €2.064;
