Sub Project Lead Secondary Systems HVDC at our location
Hanover who will contribute to this and that might be you?

Your contribution to TenneT:

As Sub Project Lead Secondary Systems you will be responsible for the Control & Protection Systems, Telecommunication as well as HV-HMI of the HVDC-systems BalWin4 and LanWin- You are responsible for
achieving the project goals (safety, quality, time, cost) for the Control & Protection, Telecommunication as well as HV-HMI systems for the offshore converter platforms and land stations.

You will lead and coordinate the subproject team while
managing interfaces to our stakeholders, in particular the close cooperation with our main contractor, the involvement of the technical specialists and the close alignment with the parallel projects in the Netherlands.
To guarantee a successful project lifecycle, you will be
responsible for ensuring compliance with permits,
regulations,
specifications,
project requirements and
contract content, and finally that the
technical handover documentation is meeting TenneT ́s requirements.
Conducting risk management by
identifying risks,
analyzing impacts and
implementing mitigation plans is part of your daytoday job.

Your profile and background:

You have preferably
a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar and
an academic level of thinking and working:
You have worked in a
comparable role, with indepth experience in and comprehensive understanding of
HVDC Secondary Systems:
You are
enthusiastic, driven, determined, authentic, inspired, and inspiring.

You are an
effective decision-maker and are
determined to bring the decisions into fruition:

You are
fluent in
English and
German:
Besides you are willing to
travel as per project needs
You are preferably
IPMA certified or open to obtain

Large Projects Offshore is a key contributor to the energy transition. The Unit is responsible for the current and future development of the offshore grid as a whole and subsequently for the development and realization of the DC interconnectors and the Offshore Wind Farm grid connections in both the German and Dutch sectors of the North Sea.
