Responsible for Supply Chain activities including: planning, procurement, materials management and logistics in a mixed model manufacturing environment.

Partners with the various site functions and divisional strategic sourcing team to ensure highly efficient lean supply chain execution in terms of material cost, quality, delivery and inventory for the BWP.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the daytoday Supply Chain and Materials Management functions to achieve key metrics for the Italian market
• Supplier management and development
• Drive relentless focus and organizational execution on following key supply base metrics: Delivery (OTD), Inventory (DOI), Supplier Quality (PPM), Cost (Material Savings)
• Design and implement improvements to Supply Chain to support the growth and improve responsiveness to customers and reduce operating expenses and working capital
• Initiate and drive projects for continuous improvement in the areas of material cost, inventory accuracy and planning
• Develop and automate key metrics and ensure continuous improvement to metrics over time
• Work with members of the supply chain, new product development, engineering, manufacturing and other key functional areas of the business and develop and contribute to the S&OP processes/metrics, guidelines and policies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Technical, or equivalent
• Supply Chain experience, strong background and understanding of the following in a mixed model manufacturing environment: Tactical Procurement (Buying)
• Fluency in English and Italian, German is a plus
• Knowledge, experience and proficiency with ERP systems
• Action oriented; enjoys challenges; can do approach with a drive for results, agility and personal adaptability with the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities with a high sense of urgency in a rapidly changing environment
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and hold others accountable
• Solid analytical skills and solutiondriven thinking; collects and researches data; uses intuition and experience to complement data
• Develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
