The Position

As a quality technician you work in the factory to implement, improve and change the quality systems in the plant.

Likewise, you will be responsible for the control and management of the information of the plant operations that have to do with quality.

You will be continuously involved in the continuous improvement of processes.

Main responsibilities

  • Be a team member for Supplier Approval stage to secure the component quality and supplier process robustness.
  • Point of contact between AEG PS operations and suppliers to ensure that standards and requirements are met for the supplied components.
  • Organise and carry out quality system audits in suppliers.
  • Conducting supplier process audits on a regular basis.
  • Implementing the Production Part Approval Process(PPAP) with suppliers.
  • Support incoming inspection control plans and component problem resolution.
  • Assist in the creation of supplier quality programmes and improvement projects.
  • Track supplier quality KPIs and reporting supplier quality performance to quality management.
  • Analyse component quality problems and evaluate supplier containment, corrective and preventive actions.
Qualifications and requirements

  • Completed technical vocational training
  • Specialist training/further training in the field of quality
  • Supplier quality management is desirable
  • Knowledge in Problem Solving Methods
  • High ERP affinity, preferably SAP.
  • Good MS Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Fluent in German and English is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Assertiveness
