The position holder is responsible for the setup and management of the Infrastructure and Operations Team in Europe.

The position holder is supporting central, regional, and local business IT demands and working closely with the business side to be an active part in generating business value.

Your tasks- Task lead of a virtual team of colleagues from several subsidiaries- Management of the Infrastructure and Operations team within the Regional IT Center Europe- Budget and capacity planning with ongoing cost optimization- Ensuring zero downtime and secure operation of the IT infrastructure as well as administration and maintenance of the existing IT infrastructure- Operational management of server and network systems including the hybrid infrastructure- Development and integration of new efficient solutions, modules and functions into existing systems- Integration of new modules and functions into existing systems- Introduction of KPI-based controlling of IT Service delivery- Maximizing the IT value contribution by identifying and implementing standardization, automation, and flexible sourcing potential

Your skills and competencies- University degree or comparable working experience- 5 years of working experience, preferably experience in working abroad in a multinational environment ITIL and Project management skills- Proven experience in leading interdisciplinary teams- Experience in the management of external and international service providers- Fluent in German (verbally and in writing) and English (verbally and in writing)

Your mindset- Strategic mindset and entrepreneurial thinking and acting- Customer-oriented, conflict resolution skills and a cooperative leadership style- Overarching understanding of business and production processes- Experience in manufacturing industry, preferrable machine/laser- Motivating hands-on mentality combined with a results-oriented approach to work
