Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

As a part of the Research Department, you will contribute to the discovery and characterization of novel immune-checkpoint targets and actively participate in the evolution of our proprietary screening and validation platform.

You will work in a modern, semi-automated laboratory, and will be eager to continually evaluate and employ new state-of-the-art techniques for advancing our target-tailored drug screening efforts.

Some of your daily tasks will involve:

  • Validation of gene function in modulating immune cell (lymphoid and myeloid) responses using stateoftheart methodologies (CRISPR, RNAi etc.)
  • In vitro primary immune cellbased assays such as coculture assays, immune cell activation and cytotoxicity assays
  • Improvement and implementation of our proprietary highthroughput genetic screening platform
  • Execution of immunological endpoint assays such as flow cytometry, ELISA, multiplex analysis and image analysis using IncuCyte live cell imaging device
  • Target pathway analysis including overexpression, phosphoprotein analysis, transcriptomic sequencing
  • Participate routinely in laboratory management and organization.
  • Execution of experiments both independently and in a team, including diligent analysis, documentation, and presentation of your results in internal team meetings

What we are looking for:

  • You hold a university degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in biology, molecular medicine, biotechnology, or a related field, or have completed a vocational training as laboratory assistant such as BTA, MTA, CTA and have at least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an industry setting
  • You have demonstrable experience with CRISPR/Casbased genome editing methodology or in transfection/transduction of primary human immune cells or cell lines
  • You possess handson experience in conducting immune cellbased functional assays (cytotoxicity assays, cytokine release assays, ELISA, beadbased multiplex assays, macrophage polarization assays etc.)
  • You are familiar with standard cellular and molecular biology methods such as cloning, transduction/transfection of expression vectors in desired cell types, mutant generation, western blot, RNA sequencing preparation, phoshpoflow or plex analysis
  • You are experienced in using data analysis software such as GraphPad Prism and Flow Jo
  • You are motivated to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced biotech environment to meet project goals
  • You are fluent in English (spoken and written)
