Challenges that let you grow:

  • Ensuring timely and accurate investigation of Sanction & Embargoes alerts and cases with a quality level that raises no questions with regard to the risk assessment and recommendation
  • Advising on Sanctions & Embargoes topics of medium to high complexity
  • Ensuring timely and accurate escalation of medium to high risk issues, i.e.
negative news, sanctions circumvention attempts, voluntary self-disclosures, and other Sanctions & Embargoes-related topics- Contributing and assisting the Head of Sanctions & Embargoes Germany to get a consolidated view of Sanctions & Embargoes risks & facilitating regulatory watch on Sanctions & Embargoes topics and ensures sharing of major topics with the Head of Sanctions & Embargoes Germany- Facilitating and ensuring participation in annual risk assessments and other required Sanctions & Embargoes Reportings- Ensuring timely and accurate investigation and escalation of CSR related Trade Finance Transactions & advising on CSR topics especially related to Trade Finance Transactions as required by BNP CSR ProceduresSkills that convince:


  • Legal or Economic educational background preferred
  • Profound knowledge of Financial Security, especially Sanctions & Embargoes regulatory environment
  • Knowledge of the Banking and Finance Sector, financial products/services and the related field of AML/KYC
  • Ability to make clear and timely decisions which are based on judgement after weighing up all facts, risks, constraints and available options
  • Resilient team player, communication strength and flexibility
  • Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory, working German level a big plusWhat we offer:
