In order to support Manufacturing Engineering, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for aVIE Improvement Project Leader (d/f/m):

Our OSMMD organization belongs to the central Manufacturing Engineering (ME) department for all A320 Family Final Assembly Line (A320 FALs, based in Hamburg, Toulouse, Tianjin and Mobile).
We are responsible for Process, Method and Tools that enable efficient production processes, therefore involved both on operational and strategic topics.
As A320 Family is targeting its biggest challenge to reach the highest rates, this position is for you the opportunity to bring changes that will have a strong and positive impact on the A320 industrial flow.

Your location:
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Your tasks and responsibilities:
Several FAL topics require improvement of the processes that are in place, or require introduction of an new useful and efficient process.
You will:
- Structure problem solving as an improvement project
- Define a strategy to bring the improvement across all FALs
- Identify the key stakeholder and build a strategy to make your project a common success
- Involve the users and customers in the solution definition
- At the heart of FAL SA with us, you will learn or reinforce:
- Project structuration
- Moderation techniques
- Change Management
- Global understanding of FAL industrial flow and specificities
Desired skills and qualifications:
- Master of Engineering degree.
- First practical industrial experience is desirable.
- Able to understand technical topics to be able to guide your project: you don't need be the expert but be able to work with the experts
- Motivated to learn and develop yourself.
- Mindset that problems are opportunities, lean mindset and methodologies
- Dynamic and able to work collaboratively, adaptable to a variety of cultures and maturities on a topic.
- The ability to analyze data and propose data visualization solutions would be a plus.
