The mission of

elevait GmbH & Co. KG (elevait) is to empower enterprises to unlock the potential of

Artificial Intelligence (AI) for their business. Our unique approach is providing AI technology in an easy-to-integrate and easy-to-use software product - and that leads to swift business values for our customers. To achieve this, we bring together state-of-the-art machine learning approaches, powerful semantic web concepts, as well as modern web and DevOps technologies in our user-friendly products.

One of our core principles is the separation of generic, atomic AI building blocks into self-contained services.

With this, we are able to serve individual customer needs with one software platform by orchestrating different services into software products.

Our central orchestration tool, called AI Studio, is capable of connecting arbitrary data input sources, to convert or manipulate different data formats, communicate via different messaging protocols, and generate individual target customer data formats by configuration only.

Suchlike workflows can be defined with a no-code paradigm in a dedicated UI. To continue our endeavor and make AI Studio more stable, performant, and scalable, we are currently looking for a

Product Owner that is eager to take ownership of this part of our elevait suite in companionship with one of our software teams in Dresden

Your Role

You're responsible for driving the development of AI Studio, our core orchestration tool built on top of Java, with the goal of reaching the next level in terms of scalability, performance, and stability as a foundation for our currently growing number of customers.
You act as a servant leader for one of our software teams in an agile environment, supporting them by prioritizing and clarifying needed functionalities as well as discussing potential solutions and their implications.
You synchronize regularly with all relevant stakeholders (e.g., other teams, management, customer, users) to collect and clarify requirements.
You make sure that the delivered software meets previously identified requirements and is of high quality by following or improving robust quality assurance processes and practices.
You maintain the backlog and the roadmaps of the teams and ensure that working packages are always wellprepared and provided to the teams on time.
You participate in customer project meetings to technically discuss firstofkind data integration scenarios.
You are asked to constantly challenge the status quo and make suggestions for improvements to the current software architecture.

Your Skills

You have multiple years of experience in leading a software team within an agile environment
You know the typical agile principles and frameworks such as Kanban, Scrum, or Team Topologies and have worked with them in common tools (e.g., Jira)
You have profound experience in software engineering itself, i.e., you worked handson in a software product (ideally with a Java context)
You are familiar with stateoftheart software development principles around Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment.
You are good at breaking down complex problems into parts and finding different solution alternatives
You love to work in a structured way within a team and independently
You enjoy interacting with people and have excellent communication skills in both, German and English
You are good at balancing the priority of different development goals and making decisions that contribute best to an overarching vision.
