Airbus Aerostructures includes four production sites in Germany: the headquarters in Hamburg with three other plants in Nordenham, Bremen and Stade where work goes on today on the aerostructures of tomorrow's aircraft.

In order to support the digital transformation of the plant Hamburg, Airbus Aerostructure GmbH is looking for a

Project Leader Connectivity (d/f/m)

You work in an intercultural team with various competences and challenging tasks to transform the company towards Industry 5.0. The team designs and maintains the holistic architecture of business processes, methods and tools driven by the organization's strategy. We link the business mission, strategy and processes to the IT strategy in close alignment with our stakeholders. Your focus will be connectivity.

Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

Develop and align the Vision, Mission and Roadmap for IIoT topics focussing on business needs and RC reduction potential
Identify relevant new technologies and drive respective Proof of Concepts
Drive and lead IIoT projects and initiatives ensuring involvement of all relevant business & IT stakeholders, secure financial funding
Work closely with business to continuously validate business impact and prioritization of IIoT topics
Drive exchange on IIoT topics across sites aligning on priorities and break silos

Desired skills and qualifications

University degree in IT, automation engineering or similar
Experience in IIoT, connectivity for production
Strong Experience in Project Management and/or Portfolio management
Strategic and forward thinker, able to see the big picture
Ability to understand complex topics, drive simplification
Teamplayer
Business fluent in English & German
