To strengthen our team and development we are looking for an experienced
Financial Accounting Specialist (M/F/d), working in full or part time.

You will be working from our office in Munich or in our office in Schnaittenbach, Germany.

You will have had substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. You are organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.

In this role, you co-operate in a small international team across Germany and France, hence a good working knowledge of the English language is a must.

Depending on the strengths and profile that you bring, some of the below responsibilities maybe focused more on than others.

YOUR TASKS

Processing of current business transactions in the parts of accounts receivable and accounts payable, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
Processing and internal clarifications of incoming invoices and vouchers
Review and remittance of travel expense reports
Review and posting of credit card statements
Calculation of sales commissions
Posting and reconciliation of payroll accounts
General monitoring and execution of payment transactions
Bookkeeping, including preparations for the tax advisor
Processing and recording bank transactions
Factoring: selling invoices and credit notes, processing incoming payments, reporting for management and all settlements with customers
Recording of fixed assets and determination of depreciation period
Preparation of advance VAT return and Intrastat declarations
Preparation of bank and other balance sheet reconciliations
Accurate and timely processing of transactions in the system
Work closely with team members to assist with quarterly financial statements
Reporting to the manager at the group headquarters

YOUR PROFILE

Relevant commercial apprenticeship with at least 3 years of professional experience in accounting
Apprenticeship as a financial accountant/bookkeeper (M/F/d) would be a great advantage
Knowledge of SAP (if possible S4/HANA FI) or another ERP system
Reliable and careful way of working as well as discretion
Advanced knowledge in the use of Excel
Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken, are a prerequisite for working in our international environment
Openness for dealing with different cultures
