Introduction:

FAR Government, Inc.

(FARGOV) is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to deliver exceptional nursing care services to the personnel stationed at Ramstein Air Base, Germany.


Position:

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract


Location:86th MEDICAL GROUP, RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany


Schedule:40 h/ week


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any abnormalities.
  • Assist with patient assessments and document findings.
  • Provide basic patient care, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions and selfcare techniques.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.
  • Perform routine procedures, such as collecting specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and provide first aid if necessary.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities

Qualifications:


  • Must have successfully completed all education and training requirements leading to and graduated from an accredited national, state, or military equivalent school for Vocational Nursing.
  • Must possess a current, active, valid, unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) from a US jurisdiction.
  • Completion of an accredited vocational or practical nursing program.
  • Successful completion of the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN).
  • Compliance with all continuing education requirements to maintain licensure.
  • Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

  • Proficient in basic nursing procedures and patient care techniques.
  • Ability to accurately assess patients' conditions and report findings.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Compassionate and empathetic demeanor when interacting with patients and their families.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare documentation.
  • Competence in administering medications and treatments safely and accurately.
  • Familiarity with infection control protocols and safety standards.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations and respond effectively in emergencies.
  • Continuous learning and willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
Pay: 2.000,00€ ,00€ per month


Experience:


  • Nursing: 3 years (preferred)

License/Certification:
- unrestricted license from a US jurisdiction (preferred)

  • Basic Life Support (preferred)
