encoord is a pioneer of software tools that enable the energy industry to plan for the energy transition. Our core technology is the Scenario Analysis Interface for Energy Systems (SAInt).

About the role & encoord
As the Senior Sales Specialist, you will lead the development and execution of the European sales strategy. You will grow encoord's revenue by growing prospectand customer relationships. You will be based in our office in Essen, Germany.


Our client base spans ten countries and includes electricity and gas network operators, asset and technology developers, research groups, and governmental agencies.

All these companies need encoord's tools to meet their goals.

Your responsibilities

  • Build relationships with prospects and customers to ensure we can serve their needs now and in the future.
  • Manage the flow of information for sales activities and transactions (including leads, billing, orders, contracts, etc.).
  • Work closely with a team of market experts, modeling professionals, and our Director of Sales and Marketing, who will aid you as you help the company meet our goals.
  • Champion and coordinate the sales strategy with encoord's management team and staff to help a young company with valuable products succeed.
  • And, of course, help encoord meet our revenue growth goals

About you

  • Curious by nature and excited to learn.
  • Honest, dedicated, and emotionally mature.
  • Has experience in software sales in the electric and/or gas markets.
  • Brings a track record of achieving sales growth.
  • Has honed excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Loves to travel within Europe and occasionally further afield.
  • Open to embracing our mission and sharing our values of integrity, transparency, and technical rigor.
  • Articulates and writes well in English and German.
