Head of Purchasing (m/w/d)

To strengthen our team at our site in Bielefeld we are looking to recruit a Head of Purchasing (m/w/d).

Key responsibilities

Accountable for local Purchasing activities, including local deployment and execution of strategies, in collaboration with Global Purchasing organization
Support and execute Purchasing Cost Reduction initiatives
Identify and implement Local saving initiatives contributing to Site/PL Business targets
Drive Site/PL sourcing activity such as NPI, Machine Transfer, Machine Cost reduction
Support the Site/PL in ensuring continuity and quality of Material Supply
Provide operational inputs to build robust Supplier Panels
Ensure compliance with Group Purchasing Processes & Guidelines
Coordinate inputs from PL functions and represent PL in Sourcing Council
Break down Site/PL targets into individual goals assigned to each team contributor

Experiences

Ideally, 35 years international and global Purchasing experience
University or Engineering degree or proven experience equivalent
5+ team members hierarchical management
Ability to work in a Matrix organizational structure
Strong Leadership attiuude and values
Team player with good communication skills
Proven record in change managemen and experience in Multicultural management
