Lead Site Manager at our location in Cadiz who will contribute to this and that might be you?


Your contribution to TenneT:


  • You are responsible for a site team in an internationally located construction site. Your project team is responsible for daytoday quality assurance and site surveyance within the respective yard. Your team consists of approx. up to 8 FTEs working fulltime in the project and additional staff from other departments and / or contractors.

Project Management

  • Organise a team in an international yard environment and performing regular site surveys for quality assurance purposes;
  • Ensure quality and compliance standards are met and resultoriented completion of assigned activities incl. local country requirements;
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, requirements and goals set for HSE, time, risk, quality and the framework of TenneT's corporate manuals and guidelines
  • Ensure implementation and continuous improvement of processes, tools and culture being organizational standards; Contribute to the standardisation of project management approach and optimisation of synergies between several HVDCsystems and offshore platforms
  • Align with experts and teams within Large Projects Offshore and various other departments within TenneT and taking into account lessons learned from other large projects

People Management

  • You set up, staff and (hierarchically) lead an efficient dedicated team, focusing on realizing the project goals and ambitions as well as TenneT's broader goals
  • You coach, inspire and actively develop employees and you align proactively hereto with other projects and line management
  • You ensure that team members have the necessary skills, training and resources to perform their roles effectively
  • You foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork within LPO and the 2GW departments

Your profile and background:


  • You have at least
    3+ years of experience in a comparable leadership role, managing projects in areas such as
    offshore or
    big infrastructure, with basic
    understandings of the legal aspects for such projects
  • You have
    preferably a Master's degree and
    an academic level in thinking and working:
  • You are
    dynamic, enthusiastic, intrinsically motivated and without a 'nine-to-five' mentality:

Strong communication skills for managing relevant stakeholders

  • You are fluent in
    English and German, additional languages of advantage
  • You are
    willing to travel as per project needs and are willing to work abroad in a yard location environment for an extended period of time
  • You are
    preferably IPMA D certified or open to obtain

  • Large Projects Offshore is a key contributor to the energy transition. The Unit is responsible for the current and future development of the offshore grid as a whole and subsequently for the development and realization of the DC interconnectors and the Offshore Wind Farm grid connections in both the German and Dutch sectors of the North Sea.
