wanted at the
Division of Infectious Disease and Tropical Medicine for work in a One Health project.

  • The Selva Maya, in the border zone between Belize, Guatemala and southern Mexico, constitutes a hotspot of biodiversity that is being threatened by ecosystem fragmentation and human encroachment, which in turn may create opportunities for spillover events, endangering human and wildlife health. This project applies a One Health approach to study ecological, demographic, and epidemiological factors that may contribute to the risk of exposure to wildlifetransmitted rabies in the Selva Maya region of Mexico. We are looking for a research assistant (HiWi) to provide data management/analysis and project support for our One Health project.
