Your area of responsibility:

Assumption of all purchasingrelevant activities and project tasks in procurement projects in the area of capex/ machinery and equipment in a global environment (e.g. supplier preselection in coordination with the specialist departments, cost analysis, contract negotiations, etc), including coordination with the relevant internal stakeholders
Implementation of global category and supplier strategies incl. subcategory responsibility
Execution of market analyses, supplier selection and risk management
Negotiation of terms and (framework) contracts
Supplier relationship management with strategic suppliers
Qualification and development of new suppliers, execution of market analyses, supplier onboarding and out phasing
Full risk management

What we look for:

Degree in mechanical engineering, business administration, industrial engineering or comparable with purchasing experience in special mechanical engineering.
A minimum of 5 years professional experience in the procurement of Capital equipment, machinery and services
Very good project management skills and strategic sourcing of suitable suppliers and service providers
Excellent negotiation and analysis skills, as well as the successful completion of projects
Solid experience in working with international business partners, suppliers and service providers
Intercultural competence and stakeholder management
Strong communication and teamwork skills coupled with experience in leading projects
Profound SAP user skills and MS-Office knowledge
Business fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
