To strengthen our team we are looking for you as Project Planning & Controls Specialist (f/m/d) for the handling, controlling and monitoring of customer-specific projects.

We are looking for know-how in the areas of engineering, procurement and construction projects, a systematic way of working and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Your responsibilities:

You contribute to the on-time delivery and execution of our projects:


  • You promote cooperation between partners and customers:

Create bid schedules and project schedules and update and analyze them on a regular basis:


  • Collaborate and jointly create and update schedules with schedulers from other Hitachi Energy units:

In your role as a key point of contact, you will ensure close collaboration and coordination with internal and external stakeholders:


  • Resource planning based on schedule planning:
-
Actively track and manage project progress using Hitachi Energy Policies and "Best Pratices" to ensure on-time and on-contract completion of customer projects:


  • Internal and external reporting based on the schedules:
-
Ensure that all projects are carried out and completed in accordance with health, safety and environmental guidelines:


Your background:

-
Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent (bachelor's / master's / diploma) or equivalent qualification:


  • Relevant professional experience in project management, project execution and especially in the area of scheduling / project controls:
-
Extensive knowledge of the project and scheduling tools Primavera and MS Project:


  • Knowledge of MS Office:
-
Knowledge in the area of switchgear (AIS / GIS) or with EPC projects (engineering, procurement, construction) advantageous:


  • Certification / further education PMI-SP or other scheduling related further education advantageous:

Excellent communication skills, strong customer orientation as well as structured working style and ability to work in a team:


  • Fluent in written and spoken English and German:
