Within the B. Braun Service SE & Co.

KG we are looking for a Legal Counsel (f/m/d) with a focus on M&A (Merger & Aquisition) for the Group Legal Department within the Corporate Human Resources and Legal Department at the earliest possible date.

As the Group Legal Department, we are responsible for providing legal advice to the B. Braun Group and representing its legal interests.

In addition to working closely with the group parent companies in Germany, we also take on tasks of particular importance on a global basis, working hand in hand with both the operational decision-makers and the internal legal departments of our group companies worldwide.

Extensive use of legal tech, a global network of cooperating law firms and flexible working models ensure a productive, international and sustainable working environment.

As part of the implementation of the group strategy, we are looking to strengthen the team in Melsungen.


Duties and responsibilities:


  • Legal advice and active participation in strategic transactions, business partnerships and other M&A activities of the B. Braun Group in Germany and internationally
  • Supporting transaction projects from initiation to postmerger integration
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating transactionrelated contracts and documents
  • Close cooperation with our internal legal departments and coordination of our law firm network as a central contact and link within the group
  • General support for the work of the group legal department

Professional competencies:


  • You have two successfully completed state examinations in law (fully qualified lawyer f/m/d).
  • You have at least three years of professional experience in M&A in an inhouse position or in a law firm.
  • Extensive expertise in contract law, corporate law and M&A round off your profile.
  • You have negotiation experience.
  • You have very good written and spoken English skills.
