    Hello There

    At Angsa, we're revolutionizing waste removal with our autonomous trash picking robots. Our mission is to create cleaner, more efficient cities by deploying innovative robotics solutions. We're seeking a talented Robotics Deployment Engineer to join our team and take ownership of the quality assurance, release process, testing, and troubleshooting for our autonomous trash picking robots as we expand our operations to various cities this year.

    This role requires fluent German skills, as communication with our German customers is required.

    Tasks

    As a Robotics Deployment Engineer, you serve as the link between development and operations, being familiar with both the technology and the daily operations at customers' sites. You ensure that new components function effectively on the robot and that the robots perform well on site.

    Focus areas in spring/summer, our peak season:

    • Setup, commissioning, and delivery of robots (together with the Customer Success Team)
    • Technical management of our dashboard and acting as the point of contact for our First Responder Team, who monitor the dashboard during business hours
    • Detection, diagnosis, and documentation of errors, as well as remote troubleshooting
    • Technical support for customers as needed

    Focus areas in fall/winter:

    • Taking ownership of the release and QA process (both technical and organizational). How are new software versions deployed? How and when is testing conducted? What is the pipeline for identified issues?
    • Development of test benches for continuous integration testing indoors (interdisciplinary)
    • Development and evaluation projects (e.g. data-based comparison of new GNSS modules)
    • Coordination of student assistants for continuous testing of the robots

    Requirements

    • Completed studies in computer science or a comparable field
    • Experience in a similar role, ideally in mobile robotics
    • Good understanding of robotics, including sensors, actuators, and networks
    • Excellent skills in Python, Git, and robotics frameworks such as ROS2
    • You are smart and an excellent problem solver
    • Effective communication skills with the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
    • Diver's licence (or willingness to obtain one) and openness to occasional customer visits
