Ryanair Engineering Germany GmbH with its company seat at the airport Berlin-Schönefeld was founded in 2018 and is a 100% subsidiary of Ryanair.

The Irish airline is, at the moment, operating an aircraft fleet of more than 450 modern Boeing aircraft and will, until 2024, further expand.

Our highly trained and dedicated engineering team is responsible for the maintenance of all Ryanair aircraft based in Germany. We are currently looking for

Tooling Coordinator to join our team in Berlin/Brandenburg (BER), Germany.

The successful Tooling Coordinator will work close with the local engineering Management and the Materials Tooling Department.

The main job tasks are as follows:

  • Actively managing the tooling and equipment stock requirements and levels throughout within the Ryanair tooling network.
  • Working closely with bases across our network, the Tooling Coordinator will ensure tooling is calibrated and ready to be used by the Engineering teams and managing the movement of tooling around the network to guarantee a wellorganised and efficient engineering operation.
  • Actively oversee and manage the required Tools and Equipment are available for the engineering operation within Germany
  • Accounting for all tool and equipment movements, in and out, within the Bases in Germany
  • Ensure tools and equipment is serviceable and available to be move within the Ryanair network where needed
  • Manage local critical tooling at the bases in Germany
  • Preventive track of tools and equipment inspection cycles and initiate actions as required
  • Monitoring shelflife requirements of Tools and equipment, ensuring calibration and proofing testing are completed prior to expiry
  • Coordinating Tooling repairs with Tech Services & Materials Tooling Department
  • Any other role related tasks as requested by the Supervisor / Manager

Requirements:


  • Have the ability to work on their own initiative with a sound mature sense of judgement.
  • Be highly organised and able to handle a wide variety of tasks in a highly pressurised environment.
  • Be an effective communicator with proven computer skills.
  • Literate and mathematically competent.
  • AMOS experience is an advantage
  • Mechanical or tooling background is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of stock control / logistics is an advantage
  • Excellent written and spoken English is essential
  • Hold a full driving licence.
  • Must have the right to work and live in the EU
