What's the role?:
HERE Technologies, a global leader in location data and technology, is seeking a dynamic and experienced

VP Sales to lead the

Automotive division in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region. In this strategic leadership role, you will be responsible for driving business growth, fostering customer relationships, and ensuring successful execution of HERE's automotive initiatives across the region. In this role, you will lead the EMEA Automotive and System vendor team and report to the SVP and GM of EMEA.


Your key responsibilities spans across:


Strategic Leadership:


  • Develop and execute the strategic vision and business plan for the Automotive division in EMEA, aligning with overall company objectives.
  • Drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability through effective strategies and market insights.
  • Identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to guide product development and gotomarket strategies.

Business Development and Customer Engagement:


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key automotive OEMs, Tier1 suppliers, and industry stakeholders in the region.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to drive new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance HERE's position in the automotive industry.

Team Leadership and Development:


  • Lead and inspire a highperforming team, providing clear direction, coaching, and support to achieve business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the Automotive division.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, ensuring a diverse and inclusive team environment.

Operational Excellence:


  • Ensure effective execution of projects, initiatives, and customer deliverables, adhering to quality standards and timelines.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive activities, and customer feedback to drive operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to drive successful product launches and enhancements.
  • Provide a weekly Forecast for the Automotive business

Stakeholder Management:


  • Engage with senior executives, both internally and externally, to communicate the strategic direction, progress, and business outcomes of the Automotive division.
  • Represent HERE Technologies at industry conferences, events, and customer meetings, serving as a thought leader in the automotive space.

Who are you?:
The VP Sales Automotive should possess the following attributes and experiences:

years of automotive Sales Leadership experience - developing and executing highly effective business strategies and tactical execution plans for EMEA

  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and motivational skills and a track record of hiring extraordinary talent
  • Expert level use of sales KPIs to drive the business forward
  • High degree of financial acumen and strong business management skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with a commitment to collaborate with people
  • Ability to drive and nurture a performance driven environment where accountability and success are measured through individuals own performance
  • Ability to inspire, retain and elevate the best in breed individuals and continuously improve the sales organization overall
