Position overview
This role presents an opportunity to join the ESG & Climate Regulatory Solutions team at MSCI ESG Research.

You would support methodology development, client outreach and thought leadership for the finance industry on EU sustainable finance (SFDR, Taxonomy, MiFID II, CSRD) and support tailoring of ESG and climate solutions to jurisdictional regulatory requirements globally.

This team supports investors and banks in meeting their sustainable finance regulatory requirements and to thrive and gather assets in a regulated environment.


Your key responsibilities
Collaborating with other senior members of the team, you will be responsible for:

  • Working with team members to draft and deliver content around EU sustainable finance topics and analysis
  • Tracking key sustainable finance frameworks (e.g. SFDR, EU taxonomy) to assist MSCI ESG Research in developing aligned solutions
  • Contribute to ensure that our reporting solutions and products are aligned with regulatory requirements

Specific knowledge and skills

  • Knowledge of key EU sustainability regulations and reporting frameworks
  • Familiarity with financial sector desired
  • Acquainted with manipulating large data sets in Excel, knowledge of Python would be a plus.

Desired experience
One year of relevant experience is preferred


Desired qualifications
Undergraduate or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Law
