Position Description Summary**:

The Associate Director of Investor Relations will broaden and enhance shareholder value and the Company's engagement with the financial community as part of an award-winning investor communications program.

The position reports to the Vice President, Head of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations.

_ Duties/Responsibilities:
_

Conduct firstline investor meetings / phone calls, responding to investor and analyst inquiries, conduct site tours as needed at company sites worldwide.
Build strong relationships with the financial community and provide feedback loop to internal partners, working closely with Controlling and Treasury teams.
Own the quarterly conference call process, including presentation, CEO / CFO script, press release, conference call Q&A preparation and transcript approval
Maintain and develop presentations and related scripts for financial community interactions, including investor conferences, road shows, M&A transactions, Annual General Meetings and quarterly results.
Take a leadership role in developing the Company newsflow with Corporate Communications team and colleagues across QIAGEN.
Monitor industry / competitor trends, provide senior management and business teams with feedback related to discussions with the investment community, commentary regarding events within the market and industry.
Proactively monitor analyst consensus estimates and price targets for accuracy, report on consensus developments to senior management and Finance team.
Lead the process to hold the Annual General Meeting and any Investor Days.

Position Requirements

At least five years of business experience required.
Impeccable written and spoken English language skills, preference for native English speaker. Additional language skills inGerman and / or French a plus
Ability to convert complex scientific, business and financial information into understandable text and presentations
Ability to analyze and improve opportunities for investors, challenge the status quo for best practices.

Personal Requirements

Excellent interpersonal and networking skills with a variety of personalities and positions.
Ability to travel on a periodic basis, primarily within Europe and North America.
