Aufgaben:

WHAT WE DO Pay directly from the car: Mercedes pay supports, among other things, in-car payments as well as payment processing via app and in the web shop.

We want customers' contact with Mercedes pay and the payment transactions on the global platform to be as seamless as possible.

We are also developing exciting new payment products and solutions to provide customers with an even better user and payment experience.

WHO WE ARE Mercedes pay GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz Mobility AG. Mercedes pay plays a fundamental part in the mobility and digitalisation strategy of Mercedes-Benz Group AG. We operate the central payment processing platform and act as the competence centre for payments at Mercedes-Benz.
Mercedes pay launched in its first market in September 2018. We are now active in more than 40 countries on five continents, processing transactions for Mercedes-Benz products and services.

Depending on the market, Mercedes pay may process transactions from Mercedes me connect store, the Mercedes me app, in-car payments or even supporting online vehicle sales.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As part of the Leadership team of Mercedes pay, you are responsible for the Operations team with currently 12 employees in Germany
You define and develop the operational model for the business support function, as well as for the IT operations together with the CTO and the Product Owners of the respective Mercedes pay products
You manage the operational KPIs of Mercedes pay's products and share them with our key stakeholders at all management levels of Mercedes-Benz AG and Mercedes-Benz Mobility AG
As part of the Leadership team of Mercedes pay, you support the continuous development of the organization inside and outside the Operations team
In detail you are responsible for...

- the support processes for our merchants and markets
- the go-live support for new merchants and markets
- the planning of our AWS infrastructure and deployment routines
- the steering of external providers in our support organization, as well as for technical infrastructure topics
- the coordination of all deployments
- ensuring compliant processes and the support of our compliance organization
- the definition of requirements for our products in order to ensure streamlined and secure operations and efficient support processes

Qualifikationen:

WHAT WE EXPECT:

You have successfully completed a degree in computer sciences or business informatics or a comparable education
You have gained several years of professional experience as a team lead in an international and complex environment, ideally in a payment operations environment
You have an excellent technical understanding in the field of modern API architecture and ideally have payment/eCommerce knowhow
You have an excellent understanding in the field of cloud architectures, ideally hands on experiences with AWS cloud architectures
You love to motivate a team, taking the initiative and introduce new ideas and concepts
You are passionate about payments and its integration into the Mercedes-Benz ecosystem
You are resilient, keep track of the big picture and are able to find solutions, where others see problems
You have fluent business German and English skills (spoken and written)
You know Leadership X principles, and live them passionately
