Your tasks

Ensure the laboratory is fully operational and that lab processes and workflows run smoothly
Conduct routine maintenance and inventory of lab equipment
Oversee chemical inventory and safety related documentation
Ensure cleanliness and functionality of laboratory and office and manage external suppliers
Maintain central cold chain storage (liquid nitrogen, ultra cold, alarm system)
Control biological and chemical waste disposal
Maintain and oversee safety relevant measure (supply of protective clothing, eye/emergency shower checkups, refreshing of firstaid cupboards)
Facilitate onboarding of new employees ensuring labrelated safety
Coordinate and commission shipments of samples and labware to external partners
Coordinate and execute different projects, including workspace remodeling, maintenance, and technical improvements

Profile:

Proven experience in lab coordination and maintenance with a good understanding of laboratory equipment
A handson mentality and willingness to assist with office maintenance management when needed
Experience and technical skills to resolve incidents related to equipment and facilities
Good organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, able to communicate efficiently
Good level of English and German
