Postdoctoral positions are available in the group of Prof. T.

Chavakis at the Institute of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine of the University Hospital and Faculty of Medicine, TU Dresden, Dresden, Germany.

Postdoctoral Fellow (f/m/x):

at Prof. Chavakis Laboratory
This full-time-position is limited for 24 months.

The group of Prof.

Chavakis is funded by the European Research Council and focuses on the field of innate immunity, metabolic inflammation and hematopoiesis.

Specifically, we investigate mechanisms that are involved in the regulation of inflammation in the context of metabolic-inflammatory pathologies and cancer, as well as the role of cell metabolism for innate immune cell activation.

We also study the regulation of mechanisms involved in trained immunity/innate immune memory. The studies involve flow cytometry, cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, experimental models and omics analysis (e.g. sequencing and single cell approaches).

Your Profile:

Experience in the aforementioned areas, especially in flow cytometry, cell biology and a background in immunology (e.g. evidenced by highimpact publications in immunology) is required
