A Snapshot of Your Day


In your new role as a Portfolio Applications Specialist (f/m/d) you will lead the QEHS-network within the Grid Consulting (GC) business and serve as a key contact on all QEHS matters with focus on sustainable optimization of quality performance and achieving high customer satisfaction.

You will collaborate with other teams, relevant interfaces and corporate QM & EHS teams to achieve the Siemens Energy QEHS policy objectives and business goals.

You will act as Quality and EHS advisor for GC department and support your leadership team with fulfilment of responsibilities.


How You'll Make an Impact

  • Supporting the implementation of quality methods and tools for systematic analysis and mitigation of product and process risks
  • Driving systematic RCA of problems including definition of adequate CAPAs and supporting with QEHSissues / troubleshooting handled on site level and perform QEHS-Checks/Deep-Dives
  • Owning the execution and successful implementation of innovation projects from ideation to proof of concept and developing and managing their evaluation, tracking, and reporting tools and measurements
  • Identifying our R&D partner organizations to cocreate and develop new offerings with and drive winwin cooperation and also driving cooperation with innovation hubs and other execution units
  • Engaging internally and externally to represent GC on innovation initiatives

What You Bring

  • Completed university degree in technical and/or QM related/relevant fields, MBA or other continued education is a plus
  • More than 3 years of successful experience in a Quality and EHS related fields
  • Proven expertise in the broader spectrum of QM and EHS topics
  • Good level of knowledge of ISO management systems and implementing/ managing management system elements
  • Strong data management skills (including database development, process implementation & management, and reporting) and high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong written and oral communication skills in English (German is a plus)
  • Good (virtual) team player and networker and have excellent Stakeholder management skills
