Job Description Summary


Assist with Institutional Review Board (IRB) filings and inquiries, and assist in the preparation of manuscripts, grant proposals, and research related presentations.

Works closely with the Principal Investigator, manager, and study team to identify problems and develop solutions.

Implement approved changes to procedures as needed and monitor results. Responsible for study coordination for investigator-initiated studies, multi-center research studies, and patient-oriented clinical and translational research projects.

Position contingent upon funding.


Job Description:


The Division of Health Policy is seeking a highly-motivated Research Coordinator A/B to be responsible for the day-to-day research operations for trials that adapt existing behavioral sciences approaches across multiple domains to improve health and healthcare delivery focused on cardiovascular outcomes.

This includes a new program to improve physical activity rates among cancer survivors at elevated risk for developing cardiovascular disease, as well as multiple efforts to diagnose and treat Familial Hypercholesterolemia (FH) across Penn Medicine.

In addition to the above, the Research Coordinator B will have demonstrated research experience and administrative skills. Additional duties will include communications with a spectrum of stakeholders including clinicians.

The Clinical Research Coordinator B is expected to provide additional involvement in developing recruitment and other process strategies, presenting data and reports to the research team.


Qualifications:

Clinical Research Coordinator A

  • Bachelor's Degree and 1 to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Clinical Research Coordinator B

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 to 4 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Salary Range - $44, $52, 661.00
