JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

The D&C Category Local Buyer is in charge to manage the end to end procurement process of various local design and construction categories and materials for the stores (new opening, remodeling and relocation) mainly focusing on General Contractor, Local tender process and Implementation of Global and EMEA Procurement Contract (such as Millworks and other materials) for the related regions of responsibility (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Other Minor)
She/he will be responsible about (i) on time delivery having continuous meeting/alignment with internal stakeholders like Construction, Design, R&D, Planning and Logistic department and (ii) cost saving through negotiations with the vendors
She/he will be responsible of ensuring the most costeffective solutions with the best quality for the Company throughout scouting new vendors, bidding management and negotiation with a focus on General Contractor and Local categories
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:
CONSTRUCTION CATEGORIES:
Manage the end-to-end local categories procurement process to ensure the on-time delivery of the most cost-effective solutions in the related regions of responsibility
Assure an effective vendor list to reach the quality, timing and cost goals
Focusing on General Contractor, Local Categories and material tender management, assuring vendors have full comprehension of drawings and specifications to submit complete and reliable quotes
Negotiate cost, time and terms and conditions with local vendors in particular last negotiation with General Contractor
Support Design, R&D and Engineering Team on any possible value engineering opportunities to optimize cost, time and logistics
Support the Procurement team on Millwork Local strategy implementation and One-Off Millwork Local management
VENDOR MANAGEMENT:
Establish and maintain long-term partnership with vendors
Scouting and prequalification local vendors to strengthen the Company's vendor base in the related regions of responsibility
CONSTRUCTION CATEGORIES AND MATERIALS P2P AND COST ANALYSIS:
Create and maintain local construction categories cost analysis and price lists
Support the Accounting Dept on invoices reconciliation and resolution of discrepancies when needed
CONTRACT MANAGEMENT:
Contract management on the local assigned categories

TECHNICAL SKILLS

PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE
Knowledge and experience in retail construction processes, materials and cost categories with

- minimum 2 years in a procurement/estimating function within the construction industry

Knowledge on Construction Contractors categories in Germany, Austria, Switzerland
Negotiation skills
Analytical and problemsolving skills
Experience with Office suite (excellent in Excel, including all advance features)
Able to work under pressure and set priorities
Flexible, dynamic, proactive
Able to work in a team
