ABOUT THE ROLE:

As an Accountant at Mindfuel, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our accounting team's daily operations.

This position is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in finance and accounting who are eager to expand their skills and grow within a dynamic organization.

You will collaborate with colleagues and customers, gaining valuable experience in various accounting tasks while contributing to our financial success.


What will be your responsibility:


  • Support key aspects of the accounting cycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standards. Collaborate with external tax consultants to ensure the accuracy of financial statements.
  • Use of accounting software and tools to perform various tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Monitor and control expenses, including review of employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Keep abreast of accounting principles and regulatory developments, with a primary focus on Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, to ensure the implementation of best practices and continuous optimization.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in financial records and processes, and suggest improvements.
  • Assist in the regular preparation of financial reports for management and provide support in the preparation of investor reporting.
  • Perform daily accounting tasks, including the preparation of customer invoices, managing collections, reconciling corporate credit card transactions, maintaining balance sheet schedules, and assisting with payroll processing.
  • Manage intercompany accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
  • Contribute to planning processes, both in business development and service delivery, helping to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
  • Gain an excellent understanding of key business performance indicators (KPIs), operating models, and processes to support informed financial decisionmaking.

What you'll need:


  • Academic degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • First experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements, with a focus on Germany. Proficiency in Austrian and Swiss accounting practices is advantageous.
  • Experience with accounting software and tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills in German and English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across departments.
  • Adaptable and proactive in a dynamic work environment.
