Your task:

To strengthen our team at the Telekom Design Gallery in Bonn, we are looking for an experienced and ambitious UX Designer (M/F/d) with extensive experience in developing physical and digital visitor experiences in the space.

The focus will be on conceptual development of new content for selected topics, but also on revising/adding to existing content as well as curating the Gallery's entire portfolio of topics.

You are an expert researcher and analyst. You identify, consolidate and interpret trends, customer insights & needs, the strategic priorities of the Group and its segments, sales targets, communication and management requirements, and new technologies.
You will translate this input into a meaningful and engaging visitor experience and create target images, concepts and narratives for new themes and showcases, supporting the company's strategic, business and communications objectives.
For the development of new physical and digital showcases and visitor journeys, you formulate comprehensive use cases and user stories based on your concepts and narratives, which you communicate with strong storytelling.
You brief and guide the development and implementation of tangible, holistic multisensory experience/exhibition concepts in space (3D & Exhibition Design, Interior Design, Architecture, Comm. Design, Visual Design, Motion Design, Audio Design).
To continuously improve the visitor experience, you initiate/capture, analyze and communicate strategic analysis, KPI target achievement and customer feedback.
You design and execute target group specific tours in the Telekom Design Gallery.
You manage complex projects from a design perspective.

Your Profile:

Master's degree in Design and 7+ years of experience with experience in UX/design and content delivery/staging in the space/digital space.

You will also be able to demonstrate the following knowledge and skills through a compelling portfolio of work examples:

Ability to inspire team members with current knowledge of the latest UX trends and new ways to interact in the space.
Proficient communication, full of positivity, warmth and empathy, customercentric mentality, effective and successful at all levels within the organization, including senior leadership
Strong methodological skills in the areas of service design, user experience, user centered design, storytelling and staging
Influencing key decision makers to challenge conventional practices and bring customer insights to decisionmaking processes
Mindset and experience to understand exactly what customers and visitors need and want
Expert knowledge in developing a holistic view, understanding of process/technology and stakeholder management
Work under pressure with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and with proper priority
Fluent in English, German is a plus
