In order to support procurement sector, Airbus Commercial is looking for a

**Supply Officer - Cabin IFE and Electronics (d/f/m)

***: The Supply Management team for In-Flight Entertainment IFE and Electronics is an international team of 19 diverse talents located between Hamburg and Toulouse.


We secure the fulfillment of IFE and Electronics components for all Airbus Programs, delivering our parts to all final assembly lines (FAL), pre-FALs and integrators all over the world, contributing to the happiness of our Customers with an on time delivery of our Aircrafts.

To reach the needed capacity of our German located team, we need a talented supply chain expert, to secure the management of supply chain work packages.


Your location:

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities:

The Supply Officer is reflecting one pillar of the triangle between Supply Chain, Contracts and Supply Chain Quality Manager.

As the job holder your main tasks and responsibilities will be:


  • Forecasting towards our supplier
  • In case of "New product introduction" (NPI) drive master data/ parameters excellence
  • Manage forecasts sent to the suppliers (long/ mid
- and short term)

  • Ordering of Equipment and parts within all business models (BFE/ SFE/ SSBFE/ ACS)
  • First contact point for all supply chain topics within your supplier portfolio
  • Maintain and improve relationship on supply chain topics to the supplier
  • Define the logistic/ ordering solution/ logistic conditions and families
  • Checking feasibility and perform execution of the order ontime and onquality
  • Obtaining and maintaining Purchase Order related data in the ERP system
  • Collaboration on deliveries dates, identification of risks and early warning to the AIRBUS manufacturing like the final assembly lines (FALs).
  • Transport Followup and Followup of deliveries from our suppliers and ensure ontime availability according to needs at all AIRBUS facilities (China/ US/ Germany and France)
  • Launch and ensure AOG transport in case of urgencies and goods receipt at Airbus
  • In case of issues at goods receipt incoming ensure problem solving with suppliers in scope
  • Eliminate with accounting payment issues to suppliers
  • Warehouse Management & Distribution & Optimized Stock
  • Monitor inventory level and stock turns based on defined targets and monitor and eliminate Nonmovers/ slowmover and dead stock
  • Key player on scrap/ sell/ transfer stock and secondary Flow Management
  • Based on Nonconformities (NCs), ordering of new parts with reduced leadtimes and communicate new ondock dates with Customer FAL Interface (CFI)
  • Reduce missing parts shortages
  • Risk anticipation/ escalation in case of any shortages at FALs
  • Continuous Improvement/ change management
  • Supply chain monitoring with and without suppliers on KPI basis (ontime performance supplier/ fulfillment rate/ nonconformities/ ordering/ stock/ etc.) and support to commodity targets
  • Lead continuous improvements by standard quality processes (Lean/ 8D/ practical problem solving/ etc.) in case of unsolved and recurring topics, contribute to root cause analysis
  • As a change enabler in new technologies (POautomation/ Quantum/ Robotics) you are responsible for introducing new ways of working into Airbus established processes. This work will be performed in transnational project environment

Desired skills and qualifications:


  • Degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering
  • Good work experience in the area of Supply Chain & Logistics with external view
  • Ability to work autonomously/ teamwork spirit/ customer oriented behavior
  • Change enabler, creative, open in new IT technologies, interested in startup thinking and mindset
  • Ability to analyze complex data in the frame of data lakes (e.g. Qlik Sense)
  • Good communication skills, especially in difficult environment of process change management
  • Experience in project management
  • Good knowledge of MS-Office as well as SAP System PDA, nonconformities and demand systems
  • German and English at native/ experienced level, French would be an advantage
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible
