6-9 month rolling contract

The Company:

My client is a globally leading Renewable Energy & Utilities organisation who are on a combined mission to deliver effective and sustainable energy solutions with exceptional customer experience. This particular division of the business is focusing on establishing themselves as the leading clean energy company that will serve millions of customers within Africa. Their employee base and expanding array of customers will need further support, specifically through the resource of a new Project Manager.

The Role:

Working alongside the Head of Product, the new Engineering Lead will be fully responsible for driving the process of understanding a range of consumer product developments. The successful applicant will own the Product Development process, take corrective actions to address issues and manage the documentation used across the group.

Main Responsibilities:

Take ownership of all project management activities.
Drive all Product Development processes.
Liaise with other team leads to control areas of resource management and project planning.
Create a database of tools to streamline all development processes.
Escalate any issues or problems to the Head of Product where appropriate.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

Minimum 810 in years in product development with ideally a background in firmware/hardware.
Experience of working within a team of engineers and product managers.
Previous experience within a global or international organisation.
Methodical and direct approach to leading projects with good previous examples of where this was needed.
Strong communication on all levels.
