You have successfully completed your master's degree or PhD and now you want to kickstart your career - preferably in an international environment.

During our management trainee program, you will quickly assume responsibility for your tasks in the global KION Electronic Systems team with a focus on our global approach to Electronical Engineering.

From the outset, you will be an important part of the KION Group and a member of a collaborative team striving for excellence.

  • You will quickly get to know all the important interfaces that ensure
    crossfunctional collaboration based on partnership and trust
  • The global orientation of the program is complemented by a 5month assignment at one of our
    international locations
  • From the start, we will assign you tasks for which you will have
    individual responsibility , giving you the opportunity to contribute your
    own ideas
  • Your
    mentor , one of our KION executives, will support you along your journey and will drive your
    personal development

Tasks and Qualifications:


Tasks

  • You will work intensively at the
    electronical and
    software development for our
    Industrial Trucks & Services (ITS)
  • You will be part of the team to become a technical expert and be able to manage complex projects. Starting point will be our
    Electric / Electronic architecture as a core element of our product idea
  • You will also
    collaborate with teams from
    Product Management ,
    Production ,
    Digital Solutions
    , Operations
    , Quality
    and Sales & Service
    , which are important stakeholders for our solutions*
  • Another area of focus will be a deep dive of all different technologies, such as
    Electrics, Mechanics, Hydraulics and Software , to define the controllers for the next generation of our vehicles and use them for the next innovative function

Qualifications

  • You have a
    master's degree or
    PhD in
    Engineering or Natural Sciences and are now keen to get practical experience
  • You have a keen interest in **electronical engineering
    , embedded systems (cyber physical systems), **and ideally already have
    initial practical experience in electronical development
  • You have
    strong IT skills —you use
    MS Office daily and ideally have knowledge of relevant
    development tools for systems modeling (SysML), requirements management, and HW & SW development
  • You have
    professional working proficiency in English enabling you to communicate with stakeholders and our global development teams; German language skills are of advantage
  • You are a
    team player and keen to
    take on responsibility and to work with a high level of
    initiative to achieve results you can be proud of
