WHO WE ARE:
Mercedes pay GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz Mobility AG. Mercedes pay plays a fundamental part in the mobility and digitalisation strategy of Mercedes-Benz Group AG. We operate the central payment processing platform and act as the competence centre for payments at Mercedes-Benz.

Mercedes pay launched in its first market in September 2018. We are now active in more than 40 countries on five continents, processing transactions for Mercedes-Benz products and services.

Depending on the market, Mercedes pay may process transactions from Mercedes me connect store, the Mercedes me app, in-car payments or even supporting online vehicle sales.

WHAT WE DO:

Pay directly from the car:

Mercedes pay supports, among other things, in-car payments as well as payment processing via app and in the web shop.

We want customers' contact with Mercedes pay and the payment transactions on the global platform to be as seamless as possible.

We are also developing exciting new payment products and solutions to provide customers with an even better user and payment experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As part of the communications team, you are supporting the creation and customization of content according to the platform and medium, always on brand with our Mercedes pay specific brand and content strategy.

This includes, but is not limited to the following tasks:

You assist in the conceptualization and creation of engaging presentations, keynote speeches, social media posts that resonate with our stakeholders
You help organize the content production (video, photo) for social media
You maintain our editorial plan, keeping an eye on deadlines
You act as a sparring partner, e.g. during project brainstorms
You assist answering questions around our brand identity and tone of voice
You support external communications stakeholder management inside of Mercedes pay, Mercedes-Benz Mobility and the larger Mercedes-Benz ecosystem

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

You are currently enrolled at a university (at least in the third semester) and are studying in the fields of marketing, communication, or business with aboveaverage grades
You have gained first professional experience
You have an interest in technology and digitization topics and in their integration into the marketing and communications strategy
You have an innate feeling and know how to address different audiences through different channels
You have excellent language skills in German and English (spoken and written)
You have good knowledge of MS Office (in particular PowerPoint, Word)
You have topnotch communication skills and are not afraid to take ownership for your own projects
You're a team player, yet have a selfstarter mentality
You have very good analytical and conceptual skills
You have a structured workstyle, have a high degree of independence and initiative, and aboveaverage commitment
