Research Associate / Postdoc (M/F/d)

starting at the earliest possible date. The position is limited until December 31, 2025 and offers the chance to obtain further academic qualification. The period of employment is governed by the Fixed Term Research Contracts Act (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz - WissZeitVG).

The Cluster of Excellence CeTI and the TU Dresden offer an excellent scientific infrastructure and an ideal environment for interdisciplinary cooperation.

For empirical work, there is access to various laboratory facilities such as eye tracking, motion capture, EEG and neuroimaging.

Working field:

The research will combine knowledge of human perception and attention with innovative sensor/actuator technologies to develop new integrative multimodal interface solutions for enhanced interactions between humans and cyberphysical systems (CPS). Based on empirical experiments, psychophysical and neurocognitive data will be collected to better understand needs, constraints, and challenges in humanCPS interactions. The work will mainly focus on the integration of multisensory data, i.e. visual, auditory and haptic information.

Requirements:

- very good university degree (Diplom; M.Sc.) in psychology; completed PhD and own project experience; experience with the collection and analysis of psychophysical data, especially with eye tracking and motion capture; proficiency in the English language, flexibility, initiative, independence and ability to work in a team.
