Then join the Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets Wertpapierhandelsbank GmbH (LBCMW) team as Head of Internal Audit in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, reporting to the local Management Board.
LBCMW primarily provides bond origination, underwriting, and distribution and credit trading for European counterparties, and is supervised by BaFin, the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority.
Whilst being the functional Head of Audit, you'll provide the full range of Audit services to LBCMW in accordance with German regulatory requirements (especially MaRisk).
- Conduct the planned or special audits for LBCMW independently, from induction (kickoff) to final audit meetings (closing conferences).
- Issue findings, agree and follow up on management actions, prepare, and publish written audit reports to our responsible management, and maintain an audit program for each auditable entity. Prepare comprehensive working papers for each audit, and track and followup the agreed audit actions.
- Maintain and annually review the audit charter, the audit framework, the audit universe, the risk assessment, and the audit plan and acquire the approval by our two Managing Directors, where and when required.
- Report about the relevant audit work in quarterly and annual reports to the senior management in Germany and UK. Also, become a guest member to all our local management committees, and
- Where possible, you'll collaborate with Group Audit, especially to assure the Audit coverage for our outsourced activities.

What you'll need
As Head of Internal Audit, you'll have
- Proven experience in internal audit and have held roles as (Senior) Audit Manager or Deputy Audit Head, preferably in an international environment;
- Knowledge of debt capital markets or credit sales, as well as German and EU regulations (e
g:
WpIG, MaRisk, Anti Money Laundry legislation, MiFiD, WpHG, MaComp, BAIT);
- A university degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (Finance, Banking, Business Admin, Management, Law), preferably CIA or CISA;
- Fluency in written and spoken English and German, and
- You're a teammate, flexible, handson, ITaffine, and have strong communication and influencing skills, thought leadership, as well as critical thinking.
