Your role and responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

Drive the user research at DIGITEC as the main owner of this discipline
Prepare and conduct customer interviews to understand the needs of the users
Prepare and conduct workshops and design sprints with internal and external stakeholders to generate a shared understanding and pave the way to feasible solutions
Gather qualitative data from additional sources, e.g. customer support
Synthesize user problems and generate insights to derive business opportunities
Contribute to the design process from ideation over prototyping up to the final design
Conduct user testing

Skills and experiences we're interested in:

Passion for understanding motivation, needs and problems of users
At least two years of practical experience in user research
Openness to learning a new domain, such as the financial industry, or experience in this area
Strong organizational and project management skills
Experience with designing digital products
Knowledge of prototyping tools (like Balsamiq Wireframes or Adobe Xd)
Excellent communication skills and ability to converse with clients in English
Teamplayer mentality and willingness to collaborate with colleagues
Ideally, a native German speaker
