You have successfully completed your master's degree or PhD and now you want to kickstart your career - preferably in an international environment.

During our management trainee program, you will quickly assume responsibility for your tasks in the KION Supply Chain Operations team of our operating unit Industrial Trucks & Services EMEA (ITS).

From the outset, you will be an important part of the KION Group and a member of a collaborative team striving for excellence.

  • You will quickly get to know all the important interfaces that ensure
    crossfunctional collaboration based on partnership and trust
  • The global orientation of the program is complemented by a 5month assignment at one of our
    international locations

    own ideas

Tasks and Qualifications:


Tasks

  • You will rotate through positions in
    different departments with a
    focus on both operational and strategic Supply Chain planning and therefore,
    collaborate with
    Operations, Product Management, Sales Planning, Procurement, Controlling and Business Development
  • You will work intensively on the
    development of Supply Chain Planning processes and the integration of further business scope into existing standards
  • You will gain
    demand planning capabilities including preparation of introduction of new
    planning tools in different regions, as you will work closely with our colleagues across
    multiple European manufacturing sites and our supply chain counterparts in
    China and North America
  • You will also support the
    development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in supply chain planning

Qualifications

  • You have a
    master's degree in
    Business Administration, Engineering, Technical Business Administration, Natural Sciences, or Business Informatics **and are now keen to get practical experience
  • You have a passion for
    supply chain centric operations and ideally already have
    initial practical experiences
  • You have
    professional working proficiency in English enabling you to communicate with stakeholders and our global teams; German language skills are needed
  • You have already acquired
    international experience and are excited by the prospect of a placement abroad for several months as part of the trainee program
  • You have
    strong analytical skills, first experience with AI and are keen to work with us innovate topics
  • You are a
    team player with strong communication skills and
    intercultural competence, and you are keen to
    take on responsibility and to work with a high level of
    initiative to achieve results you can be proud of
