What will you be doing?

  • Manage and develop supplier base, performance, relationships and negotiations in close cooperation with Voyage Solutions BLs and Category Managers (when applicable)
  • Create and update agreements with suppliers, maintain SAP Outline Agreements and material/supplier master data in relevant parts
  • Lead/support/participate in negotiations, secure capacity and forecasting
  • Ensure Quality, Delivery, Lead Time and Cost development of materials and services for own area of responsibility
  • Manage supplier performance and relationships, gather and analyze spend and supplier data, execute benchmarking, provide data to the relevant functions
  • Analyze future supply demand in cooperation with the needed functions
  • Support nonconformity/warranty process management in escalated issues
  • Secure compliance to Supply Management processes/procedures, strategies and agreements
  • Execute/support material/services for cost budgeting and followup
  • Execute/support supplier selection/rationalization process
Strategic Purchaser within the Strategic Sourcing Dept. in the Supply Chain Management organization of Voyage - Marine Power.
- solid understanding of sourcing and supply management (at least two years of experience in sourcing or technology),
- negotiation skills coupled with a strong focus on problem solving, quality, speed and cost,
- solution oriented approach, capability to implement and persistency to follow-up activities to ensure sustainability,
- capability to work in a distributed team and self-driven approach,
- good communication and presentation skills,
- fluent command in English, both oral and written and good networking capacity, willingness to travel,
- strong honesty and integrity, and

  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering and/or Business or another relevant field.
