Supervisor, Item Master & Operations Analytic

Job Summary


The holder of the position is the key responsible person for the entry and maintenance of all articles and material data (~15.000 articles) or configurations according to the standards of the QMS in the enterprise planning system JDEdwards.

Furthermore she/he is responsible for the proper set up and maintenance of item master data, article restristrions (Regulatory, Sales) bill of materials and work order routings.

He/she is leading the respective team of employees.


In addition he is responsible for the structure of the item master data in the ERP system and the respective processes.

He acts as a link between the business users i.e.

Product Management, QARA, Procurement, R&D, Service, Engineering or any other function, building up crucial ERP system and product/article knowledge, supporting and managing the operations related JDE informations.


The holder of this position is as well the responsible contact for the RDx supply & demand planning in Hoechberg.

He is responsible for the data preparation of the demand plan and the processing of data analysis or supply information.

Based on this analysis he creates ratings and identifies gaps, additionally he/she provides recommendations for further actitivities.

He strives continuously to achieve improvements of the data quality.
Therefore he works closely with the responsible key functions across departments, i.e. but not limited to Customer Service, QA/RA/DA, Production and Procurement.


Required Qualifications:

Education:


  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree or equivalent educational experience in Business Administration, Business Information Management of Business Informatics
  • Desired areas of specification: Finances or Data Management or Data Analysis

Experience:


  • High affinity to fiures, data and interpretation of data
  • Strong IT acumen
  • Good expierence in data analytics, ERP system knowledge desirable
  • Knowledge in forecasting and demand planning desirable

Knowledge:

  • Proficiency with PCbased programms like Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Highly skilled in using ERP-Systems or any other Business Intelligence tools
  • Affinity for data, data processes and/or financial information
  • Data driven personality with acumen to understand the content behind the data, strong analytical skills
  • Very good communication and presentation skills in English, verbal and written

The Supervisor Item Master & Operations Analytics s expected to manage data entry, corrections and updates, and ongoing maintenance of all product item master data, including supplier, item, logistics, and QA details.

The Specialist is expected to communicate with designated suppliers or other external stakeholders to follow through on data requests.


Essential Duties (Primary Tasks):

  • Data and Configuration Management_
  • Leading the Item Master & Operations Analytics Team
  • Ensuring the accuracy, maintenance of article information
  • Maintenance of the item master data according to the standards of the QMS and therewirth maintaining the Device Master Record (DMR)
  • Set up of items according to the articel introduction process for all markets, i.e. all direct market branches (currently AUS, IT, NL, DE, UK)
  • Maintaining all article related data sets within specific, customer order specific configurations (configured BOM management)
  • Management and maintenance of Operations relevant data (hrs, COGS, purchasing prices, standard costs) within the ERP system
  • Limitation of the use of articles as defined for sales or regulatory restrictions

  • Support of the annual sales price update process
  • Support of audits or requests from notified bodies
  • Conducting plausibility checks for the month and year end closing reports
  • Collaboration on the standard cost update.
  • Supply & Forecast Planning_
  • Responsible to maintaining the forecast in the ERP system incl. quarterly updates
  • Responsible to maintaining of the planning bill of materials incl. quarterly updates
  • Furthermore he is responsibility to improve the forecast planning and the quality of the demand in the ERP system continuously
  • Measurement of the forecast accuracity, measurement of deviations and gap analysis
  • Processes analysis and improvement of the demand planning at the planning structure on component level
  • Contact person for HBG for the Global RDx S&OP (sales & operations planning) process
  • Analysis of risks related parts to the demand plan and changes on the demand plan
