Description:

Grow and expand our product for Germany
At Birdie, it's all about improving people's lives.

We think that our quality of life shouldn't decrease just because we age, and we are building a platform to make it possible.

We think that every senior deserves the very best care, and our modular product focuses on providing kind, accurate, and thoughtful care to seniors, directly at their homes.

In 2021 we were 9th in Start Up's top 100 innovative and disruptive businesses as well as being accepted into Tech Nation's 2021 Upscale 7.0 program.

As of June 2022 we closed our series B funding with $30m invested by Sofina, Omers & Index ventures.

In 2023 we were named 6th in Deloitte's Fast 50, which recognises the fastest growing tech companies in the UK.

In 2024 we were listed in Sifted's top 100 fastest growing start-ups, and also in Tech Nation's Future Fifty cohort.

We've launched with some exciting partners in Germany at the beginning of this year, and your role is to continue to accelerate our growth in the market.

Your responsibility will be to work with your squad to continue to build upon our MVP launch, working closely with the squad to define sprint goals, prioritise and maintain your backlog, testing and iterating with our partners, and communicating progress across the company.

This will be a contract for 2 months, with a possibility of extension.

How you will contribute:

  • Work closely with your squad to deliver on new capabilities for the German market, operating as the voice of the customer to ensure that the products that we build are solving the right problems for our users.
  • Champion a usercentric mindset with the German team, ensuring that all decisions and developments are driven by a deep understanding of our users' needs, pain points, and aspirations. Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to inform user research, testing, and feedback loops.

We'd love to hear from you if you:

  • Are a German native speaker or equivalent level.
  • Have experience in a market entry or 0 to 1 product launch, with demonstrated success.
  • Have 2+ years in product management experience, with strong familiarity of agile best practices
  • Are based in Germany and willing to travel to our Berlin office on a regular basis.
  • Are an entrepreneur at heart, and love working in an energetic and dynamic startup working environment that embraces learning and change.
