Job Purpose/Role
At AGCS our account technicians support the business by capturing and processing policy information; from submissions through to billing and collection.

Reporting to Global Business Operations Manager Liability & Entertainment your primary responsibility will be to provide an efficient administrative and processing service to Underwriting and our local entities abroad, Accounts, Claims, Credit Control and our Brokers/Clients.
Your responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting source underwriting materials to ensure all information is complete including broker presentation, slips, underwriting files and accounts.
Key Responsibilities
In this role you will
- Be responsible for accounts of low to medium complexity
- Coordinate with Underwriting to address questions and issues regarding cover and wording. Authorisation in line with assigned limits
- Use relevant information to accurately and efficiently populate IT system(s) with new and renewed business. Prepare regular reports
- Produce all relevant documentation, e.g. certificates, endorsements to the Broker (or Client)/ Co-Insurers in a timely and accurate manner
- Develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers, including Underwriting, Accounts / Credit Control, Reinsurance Accounts and Brokers, attending relevant meetings, as required
- Monitor maintenance and followup of all accounts, according to the respective level of responsibility and escalate any issues as required
Key Requirements
- Fluency is German (C1) is required
- You have ideally completed a recognised insurance qualification
- You have 3 years experience of policy administration in the insurance sector
- You have 2 years administrative experience in a Corporate environment
- Datadriven and innovationminded, you are able to implement new digital ways of working
- Experience with Insurance frontoffice systems appreciated
- Knowledge of English language (Level A2/B1) required
- You pay attention to detail
- You work well in a team and remain calm under pressure
