We are strengthening our team at the Auerbach location for a working student position for the duration of 4-6 months.

Yor tasks as Working Student Commodity Purchasing Sensors (M/F/d):

Manage supply base to include renewal of agreements and assisting suppliers in problem solving and tracking corrective actions
Conduct supplier assessments for potential new suppliers
Gathers and analyzes supplier data to prepare analysis and recommendation for supplier selection, with focus on sourcing in lowcost countries
Work with suppliers to develop continuous improvement plans and metrics to monitor performance
Develops and executes sourcing strategies and prepares monthly reports to track and show sourcing strategy and progress, including achievement of spend reduction targets
Interface with internal customers on critical supplier issues as necessary

Your Profile as Working Student Commodity Purchasing Sensors (M/F/d):

Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or similar field of study
First experience in the area of purchasing
Knowledge in MS-Office
Team spirit, analytical skills, quick comprehension, solutionoriented and independent working style and strong communication skills
Excellent communication skills in English
