Technical Sales Specialist Bioproduction - Pharma Analytics Sales Pharma

The Technical Sales Specialist Pharma Analytics will be responsible for the development and execution of Pharma Analytics Business (instruments and consumables) in the regions of Eastern and Southern Germany, Austria and Central Eastern Europe They will drive development of the business plan, mid and long-term objectives and customer satisfaction goals.

The Technical Sales Specialist will operate in the commercial organization in close collaboration with the broader Bioproduction and Life Sciences sales teams, with Marketing and with Product Management teams as well as with the Field Application Specialist colleagues.

A day in the Life

Own and execute business objectives to continue and expand the adoption of Rapid Molecular Methods in Development, Production and Quality Control.
Build and execute a plan for market development in the region
Manage the strategic direction for the territory; Develop sales strategies to meet plan and expand business within assigned territory; maintain a pipeline of opportunities to meet or exceed sales objectives
Provide accurate forecast and lost order reporting as well as competitive information on a regular basis.
Ensures that all vital resources needed are used efficiently and effectively in order to increase our business.
Coordinate all issues with key clients between sales, service, support, customer services, marketing and finance.

Keys to Success

Degree in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry or equivalent
Minimum 3 years previous experience in Sales position, preferably with domain knowledge from BioPharma / Pharma Industry
Knowledge of Q-PCR and DNA Sequencing technology platforms desired
Proven record of achieving business objectives and measuring performance toward those objectives
Selfmotivated individual, capable of working in a panEuropean team
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Very good command of German and English language; Polish or Hungarian are advantages
Willingness to travel extensively within the region: Germany, Austria and Central Eastern Europe
