What You'll Do

Responsible for Procurement commodities within the freight logistics in EMEA (different transport mode)
Contracting top vendors in EMEA
Governance/ supplier management: follow up on QBR, SLA & claims
Set up new flows & transport modes, as well optimizing current lane
Provide the Tesla EMEA organization with buying power, develop and challenge the strategies and look for opportunities to reduce costs, decrease risk and/or improve reliability
Prepare and present best procurement options for assigned procurement projects
Manage tenders and negotiate & close contracts
Work and plan with Tesla ERP and eProcurement system
Manage the ProcuretoPay processes for your suppliers as well as rates disputes
Developing solid understanding of cost drivers
Maintaining long term supplier relationships

What You'll Bring

You live and breathe logistic procurement You have a drive to make sure that all assigned programs are fully under control Tesla EMEA setup and growth. You have a vision and you are not afraid to execute on that
Minimum is bachelor's degree or the equivalent in experience along with evidence of exceptional ability
Preferred Supply Chain/Purchasing experience: road, rail transportation intra EMEA region experience
Experience with commodity strategy management, complex market tenders and supplier & stakeholder management.
Detailed knowledge of Cost drivers mechanics and correlation with market indexes
Excellent analytical skills, a selfstarter and process owner oriented
Fluency in English and German ( preferred)
