Dr/backup Solution Architect - Berlin, Deutschland - Swisslinx

As the premier supplier to our client, one of the most established company specializing in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries, Swisslinx is are looking for DR/Backup Solution architect/technical expert for infrastructure project.

The role is fully remote starting with a 12-months contract with possible extension for another year.

Your responsibilities will be included the following:

• Strong knowledge and implementation experience in Enterprise storage technologies Backup technologies.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows server / SQL and Enterprise Network architectures
• Designs the EMC solution and supports the installation, customization and integration of the solution
• Work with Support in case of Hardware failure and troubleshoot issues with reference to EMC's best

practices and knowledge base

• Develops and cultivates strong customer relationships ensuring a 'customer for life' relationship
• Expected to have strong customerfacing skills including negotiation, conflict resolution, and crisis management
• Responsible to analyze customer provided requirement and work with program managers and customers to get appropriate information for the implementation of the vBlock
• Proactively alerts project management and sales team of potential problems and solutions
• Supports the design and development of the technical content defined in the Statement of Work

Candidature requirements:

• Bachelor Degree and a minimum of 7 years' experience in a storage, backup, DR architectural leadership role spanning a broad range of technologies
• Experience in Testing planning of the DR infrastructure services.
• Extensive handson experience dealing with infrastructure solutions, monitoring IT Infrastructure components
• Proficient at working directly with field personnel and large customers in the context of specific transactions
• Work closely with development team focusing on the execution / development of interface and integration roadmap
• Coordinate efforts of local team of engineers responsible for Swift / Tempest / and other open source contributions
• German mother tongue or fluent, proficiency in English
