Introduction:

We are looking for a talented and imaginative Concept Artist with a deep enthusiasm for automotive culture and racing to join our team at Competition Company.

As a Concept Artist, you will collaborate closely alongside our Art Director and other team members, playing a crucial role in the development of cosmetic items, car liveries, environments and other game elements.

Your innovative designs will play a pivotal role in igniting excitement, fostering engagement, and enriching the experience for our expanding gaming community.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the Art Director, Game Designers, and other team members to conceptualize and develop visual design for vehicles, tracks, landscapes, and other game assets.
Iterate on designs based on feedback from the Art Director, Game designers, and other stakeholders.
Research and gather reference materials, including realworld vehicles, locations, and racing events, to ensure authenticity and accuracy in the game's visual representation.
Generate sketches, mood boards, and color studies exploring different artistic directions.

Your profile:

At least 2+ years industry AA or AAA game experience as a Concept Artist.
Portfolio demonstrating artistic and conceptual skills.
Strong understanding of fundamental art principles such as composition, perspective, color theory and lighting.
Proficiency in digital art softwares (Adobe Photoshop or equivalent).
Passion for racing games and a deep appreciation for automotive design, including familiarity with different vehicle types, brands and racing disciplines.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Has an organized and structured approach to your work tasks.
Eager to explore new tools and broaden your knowledge in the field.
Fluent in English.

What could make you stand out more?

Experience with 3D Art.
Experience with SimRacing modding.
Experience in motorsport, racing games or competitive esport.
