We are Apaleo

We are an agile European tech company in the hotel industry.

Apaleo, the first hotel microservices-based platform, allows the accommodation providers to create the perfect digital environment, so they can easily build their tech stack to manage all their activities.

Our platform consists of 20+ microservices that communicate mainly via Kafka.

We use bleeding edge technologies:
NET 6, Terraform, and AWS.

At Apaleo, you will work on building a great product and see it in action, helping customers all over the world to have the best digital environment that fits their needs.

We're looking for a
Technical Lead C#/.NET (f/m/d) to join our team

What You'll Be Up To:

Coding complex features and enhancements for the platform using.

NET;

Balancing between writing and putting the code of other developers together;
Collaborating and coordinating the work with other teams when necessary;
Having an overview of the team's backlog and planning the roadmap together with the Product Lead;
Proactively monitoring the services in production and spotting potential issues;
Diving deeply into the domain to better understand user's needs in order to build better solutions;
Working iteratively towards the goal while ensuring the delivery of the business functionality end to end.

Your Skills:

You produce beautiful, welldesigned, easily maintainable, scale and reusable code;
You know how to deal with uncertainties and detect hidden complexities early, and deliver on them accordingly;
You're an expert in breaking down large epics into smaller issues;
You have deep knowledge of C#, and.

NET, as well as working with some the technologies like AWS, Kafka, Docker, PostgreSQL, DataDog, and Terraform;

You're eager to stay handson for at least 50% of your time;
You are a selforganized and confident leader, capable of moving forward and guiding others to success;
Experience building SaaS/IaaS/PaaS systems is very much appreciated;
You communicate fluently in English.
